Outokumpu supplies high quality bar in a wide selection of standard and special materials/grades, including our newest grade 303 HST for high-speed steel tooling. Product forms include round, square, hex, rod, billet, and blooms.

Outokumpu Bar is used in valves, fittings, flanges and other machine components in chemical processing, oil exploration, food and beverage, pulp and paper, aerospace, and in many consumer products.

Outokumpu provides stainless steel solutions by producing exceptional special qualities such as PRODEC® (for improved machinability) and special grades like 254 SMO®, used for over 20 years to provide longer material life in the most corrosive environments. PRODEC® is now available in 303 Bar. 254 SMO® is available in all product forms.

For stainless steel reinforcing bar and other civil engineering and construction uses, Outokumpu has developed a new grade:  lean duplex LDX 2101, which has comparable pitting corrosion resistance to ASTM 316L, but with only one-fifth of the nickel content and nearly twice the strength.  LDX 2101 is equally strong as 2205 in most applications.
